Um...

I love Lush, have ever since the girls first introduced me to them. Maddie has always loved their bath bombs, and they were always a stocking stuffer for her. But this, I'm - I'm not quite sure they thought this through fully.

One of their new bath bombs for Valentine's Day:

Why yes, that IS an eggplant, why do you ask?

I laughed so loud when I opened that email.

(You can buy it here if you're so inclined.)

Then there's my monthly horoscope I read:

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Influenced by THE EMPRESS

Music: Heathens – AURORA, Lazy on the River – Joey Pecoraro

Cancer, there is something so deep in your knowing now, something that you… JUST KNOW. And I am here to tell you YOU ARE RIGHT. Trust in what you really want—what you’ve been wanting, what’s been calling towards you. January is giving you signals that you are on the right path and that what you want is landing now. Opportunity is circling you and there is something beautiful to receive and learn with what is landing. And while the opportunity is circling, don’t stop yourself from those creative impulses. Write. Sing. Play. Design. When you feel you’re most creative, that is you coming toward yourself with speed. There is also a lesson here for you around mothering—either you as a mother or your own mother—welcome that lesson as well!

Final Thought: “Words are sacred. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones, in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.” – Tom Stoppard

Wait. WHAT DO I KNOW? And why don't I know what I'm supposed to know? Is this why I had the urge to stop and buy donuts this morning? I have questions, universe. Although the last part there, the bit about creativity, hit home for me. I don't take these things seriously, but when it tells me to embrace my creative side, I'm going to put 1000% stock into its accuracy. Hahaha.

Also, I have put Madison on notice. The Witcher Pop Vinyls release this month and since she works at Hot Topic, I know they'll get some in. Kid, I need Geralt and Jaskier, stat! Yen and Ciri are welcome, too, but I NEED MY BARD AND MY GROUCHY WITCHER.

*coughs*

Anyway... Taylor makes fun of the piles of books I have, but last night? She sits down on the couch next to me and says, "You need to buy me a book." Wait, why? Better question: she only reads in print, so does that mean I can slip a copy of something for ME into that order? I guess we'll see once I head on off to Amazon.

Happy Thursday!
