Sunny Pictorial Update + My Current Song Obsession
So, over the weekend, Taylor decided that we needed to start our Christmas decorating. Meaning, I spent more money than I wanted to buying her things she HAD TO HAVE MOM.
On the bright side, Sunny is happy now that the tree is up again. She loves laying under it and, when she was smaller, she liked to nap IN the tree. *sighs*
As you can see, there are no ornaments on the tree yet. Taylor has also decided that we need new ornaments. I'm going to start making her bring HER purse into the stores from now on. 🤣
HomeGoods is a dangerous place becuase not only do they have the cutest stuff, they also have great, inexpensive blankets. And, of course, we walked out with a Christmas one. Funny thing is, the cats are obsessed with it. Violet barely moved from it once Taylor put it out after it had been washed. Sunny, a cat who rarely lies on the couch, was loving it.
This cat is never this relaxed. This is also currently the wallpaper on my work computer becuase her face!!
More proof this blanket is magic. Even though Sunny and Violet adore each other, they rarely are very close for very long. I think they napped ehre together for a couple of hours on Sunday.
Also, for those who are interested, the Brad Paisley concert was amazing. It was a tiny theater - only holds 1140 people - so every seat was a good seat honestly. He sounded amazing, just like his albums, and was on a roll from the moment he stepped onto the stage. Even better was that it was an accoustic concert, so it was just him, his guitar, and his big mouth. Taylor had fun, too, and hearing her laugh out loud at his jokes made my night.
Now, I have time to recouperate before my longtime friend comes into town next month for two shows - Gary Allan and Miranda Lambert. Man, I'm in trouble though because I ADORE Gary Allan. Have since I heard his first single back in ooooh... 1996? Anyway... I'm currently obssessed with a song off his most recent album (and not "Temptation" for once either). It's really resonating with me at the moment.
Honestly, this song brings Zayne to mind, too, but I we won't go there for now. But if you read my stuff and you listen to the song, I think you'll get it. It resonates for me for the same reasons why it makes me think of him - we're both hot ass messes liable to screw it all up, so baby if we slip will you let it slide?

I love all the cat pictures. My two cats love fuzzy blankets in the winter I think it makes them extra warm and snuggly.

Thank you! So do mine, but there's something about this particular one that they're in love with. Violet especially likes to get under a warm blankie.
Thanks, it was a nice night out for a change. And I haven't seen my friend in years, so it ought to be a blast going to the shows.
