And I posted the review to my book blog here this morning, since it releases on Tuesday, August 6th. About 20 minutes after I post the review and copy it to Goodreads, I get this in my email:
Y'ALL I'M DYING OVER HERE.
Generally speaking, authors don't comment or interact with reviewers, due to some really shitty behavior in the past by both parties. However, I have had a couple of occasions where the author commented or retweeted a link, which is always exciting. The best though was the time LEE CHILD commented on my review and then CARRIED ON A CONVERSATION WITH ME. I didn't think I was giong to recover from that one. 😂
Anyway... back to whatever you were doing before I barged in here like I had a bear on my heels. I just get way too excited over the silliest of things.
