Fandom Stuff: A Quote for Rosewood, Shevine Theme Song and more

*snort* I mistyped 'song' as snog in the post title... tell me that's not a Freudian slip right there.

To start off with a grin, I've been reading Vicki Pettersson's novel The Taken, the first book in her Celestial Blues triology.  I'm currently halfway through and cannot reccommend this more.  I'm laughing so hard half the time my family thinks I'm nuts.  Or more nuts.  Something.  Now, Ms. Pettersson is a gorgeous redhead herself, so this quote didn't quite surprise me, but it did make me smile... and immediately think of James Rosewood.

Kit loved ginger hair. It put her in mind of blue skies and green hills and made her fantasize about French-kissing young, rebellious English princes on imaginary Welsh vacations.

Yup.  Pretty much, right Andy?

Then on Saturday, my fifteen year old asks if I've heard the new song with Adam Levine.  My husband (who is both a redhead and a lover of Maroon 5) says no and gets excited.  I'm intrigued as well so she says, "Well, I bought it, so it's in iTunes if you want to listen."  Ah, so that was the $1.29 transaction.  :D  After listening to it, I am full of plot bunnies and have declared it my personal Shevine theme song.  By the way, why does Adam insist on shaving his head?  I don't get it...

Lastly, school started back up today which means that I need to start being selective about what I watch while making lunches in the morning.  I was on season 2, episode 3 of Peaky Blinders this morning and Arthur Shelby's beating the hell out of some idiot and my thirteen year old passes by and says, "Mother!  What are you watching?"  Hahahahaha... gotta love getting busted by the kids, right?
