So, in the comments of one of my posts yesterday,

kaige68 and I were picking on our bosses for not being able to spell. But then, that's why they keep us around, too, right? So, even though I love to tease them about these things, I also understand that it's job security to a point. Well, Wednesdays are payroll days and while that usually brings me a lot of frustration, it also sometimes brings me laughs.

Today, I get laughs that go right along with what K and I were talking about yesterday.

See line three for example. I had to read this five times before I figured out CW @ Dialesest meant cold water at DIALYSIS. (We're working in like half the hospitals in this town currently.)

Then, about halfway down the sheet you see F001 U Ribben Cutting. Wait. How do you not know ribbon is spelled with an O? I. Am. Dying. Because this is my BOSS. The president of hte company. While I get not being able to spell escutcheon or dialysis, RIBBON shouldn't be a trouble word for you.

Well... I think my job's safe for a few more days.

That actually makes a lot of sense, especially if he was worked up over the registration being late. Hahaha... gotta love it when they can take their little crazies in stride.

That is it exactly. And add in the fact that he's a Taurus *shifty eyes* doesn't make it any better. Brother #1 still does work in the field still and I think that adds to the situation because he's not in the office enough to switch over to a more office mentality.

My boss is partners with is cousin (not a Taurus though *phew*), he gets angry that his cousin doesn't do more, and then gets angry when he does do something more.

We are, but they have only one day a year when they can say that outloud!

Heh. My husband is a Taurus, so I feel I can speak on the subject with authority. :D I wonder if your boss is more aggravated by the inconsistency in his cousin's work ethic than anything he actually does?

Hahahaha. EXACTLY.

My boss is the only one who does things right in his mind. We are all damned if we do, and damned if we don't. He does get that he is like that from time to time.

Ah. I work with one of those, too. He seems to think he knows better about things he's never even done than I do. But your boss gets bonus points for actually having moments of clarity.

I bet you do. It'd be hard not to when you see the chaos it sometimes causes.
