I know, I know I just posted but guys, this is big.

My husband just called to tell me heard back from the transplant team and that his case has been approved! *happy dance* It's not official yet, I guess they need another blood sample from the dialysis place for a tissue mapping, but his mother can call the coordinator and see if she's a viable donor.

I've been having a rough few months, mainly because the dialysis has been so hard on him lately, and this news has about brought me to tears. It'll still be a long ass wait, so we're praying his mother is a match. But either way, it's finally moving in the right direction.

And since I have a baby shower tonight, I promise - NO MORE POSTS.

Thank you! I'm more worried about her age - they don't like to take donors over 60 and she's 63. Although she's healthy, in 10 years, her kidney will still be 73. But.. we will take whatever we can get at this point.
