Sweaty Selfies and Violet
The lone fitness group I'm in on FB encourages you to post a post-workout selfie - or a sweaty selfie. Now, I'm not doing that, sorry, but I do occasionally take one, just to have record of my progress. I was not half as successful as I wanted to be.

She is such an attention hound!
This isn't a great picture, but maybe you can see some of the definition I'm getting in my arms/shoulders. I think it's more noticeable in the reflection.

And no, this won't be a regular thing, so don't worry. LOL
Sunday was Taylor's birthday and Maddie made her vegan funfetti bundt cakes.

They were super yummy, too. She's quite a baker, this kid.
Lastly, a bit of Violetness for your early Tuesday morning. Or, at least, early here.
She crawled under the blanket with Taylor last night. I sat on the couch to eat dinner, felt something thump against my back, and saw this when I turned around:

Miss Violet is also obsessed with my bike, and has been since the day we brought it home.

And video:

At least she didn't turn it on this morning like she usually does. The monitor is touchscreen and she figured that out a long time ago. She'll get on the handlebars, tap the screen, and jump down. LOL
Anyway, that's my photo dump for the week. Have a fabulous Tuesday. :)

I remember the days of getting kicked for no reason.
Violet is such a goof ball.

You're looking good. It's nice when we're finally able to see the progress to the areas we've been working on after so many weeks of the body reminding us that these muscles exist.
Violet is so cute. Especially loved the pics of her on the bike.

I'm sure you do. Pupper feet usually hurt more than kitty feet though.
That cat. I don't know what to do with her some days.

Thanks, she's a real sweetheart. I don't know what her obsession is, but she loves getting up on it. She once jumped into my lap in the middle of a ride.

How nice of Maddie to make vegan cakes. They look delicious.
And yes, can definitely see the definition in your arm. Go you!

I love all the pics of your cats they are darling.

The cakes look delicious.
Can definitely see more definition in the mirror. Well done!

My younger girl is quite the baker, so thank you!
Thanks, it's been a long road, but finally starting to see results is definitely motivating!

Aw, thanks. They bring us a lot of laughs (and frustration), so I'm glad you don't mind all the pictures. :)

I've got two good kids and Maddie loves to bake. She's a good sister. They turned out really well.
Yay, thank you!

Great pics! I can definitely see definition.
Those look so yummy! I need to find some good vegan recipes for my daughter. She's not vegan but she's allergic to dairy and it makes it hard to make desserts for her. Everything has some variation of dairy in it.
Awww Violet is beautiful!

Thanks! Progress is slow, but it's still progress.
I can suggest a couple good cookbooks we have at home. But there are some good vegan butters (Earth Balance for one) out there as well as Bob's Red Mill egg replacer. This lady also has some really good recipes: https://bohemianvegankitchen.com/
One of my girls is vegan, the other is lactose intolerant, so we're mostly dairy-free at home now. On the upside, non-dairy dairy products are getting easier to find, even if they are a bit expensive.
Thank you! She's such a nut, but we love her.
