Thursday Drabble of Silliness
From this prompt and featuring my original characters Dakotah, a vampire, Sierra, a witch, and Austen, the half-breed toddler from hell.

She examined the kitten, turning him over in her hands. With one last look, Sierra placed Lugosi on the floor. Spying her three-year-old son watching from the doorway, she motioned him over sternly.
“Austen, what have I told you about the kitten?”
Sheepish, he said, “That if I keep biting him, Papa is going to give him to another kid without fangs.”
“Exactly. Now behave.”
“Yes, mama.”
“So,” he asked from behind her. “The verdict?”
“No blood-sucking kittens this week, Kotah.”
“Best news I’ve heard all day.”
“Don’t know which is worse… vampires or their dhampir children,” she grumbled playfully.
