I get daily writing prompts from Figment.com and sometimes they're amazing and sometimes they're um, what?

Yesterday's, however, really stirred my imagination.

Tell this story:  You're a detective on your city's police force. A dead body has been left on your station's steps. The body looks exactly like you.

My biggest problem is trying to decide who the dead body looks like.  I know James would like it to be Zayne, Zayne would LOVE for it to be James, and some days, Andy wishes it was both James and Zayne but..

...there was that time that Warren Kole had a very brief stint on White Collar before they killed him off.  Wes could very possibly find his doppleganger but...

...it'd be so much more amusing if it was either Zayne or James.  Making it Andrej would be too angsty - not just for the boys, but me too.

Not sure I have the brain power to pull this one off, but I'm absolutely going to try.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd... now I'm going to stop talking about this.  Heh.  Comments, suggestions, Gibbs slaps to the back of the head welcome.

Actually, I know you could pull this off! Make it James, make Zayne (as well as Andrej, of course) get more angsty about it than you'd think he might, and I'll be butter in your hands.

And thank you for the encouragement! I think that no matter who it winds up being, in the end there will be some level of angst (especially out of Andy). So... YAY PROMPTS!

Oh, and I'd rather you be butter on my toast, but I suppose I could always wash my hands. ;)

Make it Andy, if you don't want it too angsty, because I can see the boys make fools of themselves before realizing Andy was safe and unharmed.

I think this prompt would also lend itself to your White Pine series, especially if a certain dickwad had a doppleganger. ;)

That's an excellent idea and gives me a way to work in that other prompt where two thirds of an OTP mourn the loss of their third. Hmmm...

HAHAHAH! No doubt but I doubt Ethan, Travis, and Alex could get that lucky. :D
