I AM SO EXCITED

Sometimes, being good at my job pays off.

I discovered an email in my inbox this morning from one of our contractors asking if I'd be interested in two tickets to see the Golden Knights in January. Apparently, the accounting lady I work with selected me for this. Gotta admit, I'm kinda stoked. I rarely get the perks that the other guys - my bosses and the two who do the estimating/project management parts - do.

Taylor, my older girl, is flipping out. She really got into hockey last season when the Knights were burning up the NHL in their inaugural season. Has been saying since the season ended that WE MUST GO TO A GAME THIS YEAR, MOM. Tickets are expensive so I wasn't sure how I was going to pull it off, but by some crazy ass stroke of luck, I did it.

My husband will be pissed because I'm only getting two tickets, but he can sit on it. LOL I'll have to save so we can all go later in the series.

Anyway, I think two personal posts in a row within four hours is more than enough. I'm going back to work now. Hoping that my next post will be chapter 4.

Sure, why not? Zayne took Andrej to a baseball game so why not hockey, too? Sadly, it'll have to wait until January, which is when the match is.

Now, if we could only get a good football team in town... Not much of a fan, but I always thought it'd be fun to see an NFL game in person. (God help me but I hate the Raiders... WHY VEGAS WHY?)
