Gotta love the Irish
And apparently craterdweller isn't the only one having issues crossposting between DW and LJ. *sigh*
I'm looking at a menu for an Irish pub at the Mandalay Bay for a fic I'm working on (not the place they wind up eating though). And because I like to eat, I'm reading all the offerings.
I was rather surprised to find oatmeal on the menu because I love the stuff, but you rarely find it in a restaurant. Anyway, the description says this:
McCann's Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal (V)
Served with cream & honey on the side
Add Dried Fruit & Nuts, extra
Add Some Manners (Jameson Whiskey), extra
Like... adding whisky to my oatmeal is not likely to produce manners. Just sayin'. Although, now I'm wondering what that's like, especially considering I like pecans and brown sugar in my oatmeal. Hahaha.
The more I read this, the hungrier I'm getting. Better stop now because I think I'm actually making sweet & spicy noodles. LOL

It's so weird, but I freaking love oatmeal. I lived on it when I was pregnant because it didn't upset my stomach and was so filling. Cacao nibs, bananas, and peanut butter are also really good!
