KITTIES!
So, the girls went over to my boss's house yesterday afternoon and returned with TWO - yes, TWO - tiny, baby ginger kittens. Brian's wife had already decided that we needed to take, two. Hah.
Neither of them have names yet as the girls are 'trying to figure out personalities'. Will update you as soon as they let me know. I don't have many good pictures yet, becuase they're little and like human toddlers, they do not sit still much.
The one on the left had just spotted Sunny and was acting all big and badass despite being smol.

Sunny and Violet trying to figure out WTF we brought home now.

There was a bit of hissing last night, which surprised me, but neither showed any sort of aggression to the kittens, so that much is good. I'm hoping they adjust easily.
Not sure how tiny tot here even got onto my bed without help, but here he is.

One of them apparently peed on my bed (ugh, babies!) and Taylor had to strip my bed down. This is what she came back to.

Such brats! Lastly, a video of them being goofballs this morning. Please ignore the stack of books on the floor. 🤣

That's it for now. I'll be back when Frick and Frack actually have names.

(Anonymous) 2023-08-02 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)Roscoe sends pets. I think it's better when you have older cats to get two together. That being said, I'm glad I didn't get two with Hades since he turned out to have FVL.

Thank you! I've always wanted one due to my long-standing love of Garfield. They just seem like great cats.
That's on the girls. They roll their eyes at everything I suggest so I'm done. Hahaha. All of our previous cats have come with their names and we just stuck with them. So, this is a new experience for us.

One of 'em has tiny little tap shoes!!!

And he loves to hop around, too.

Very cute! I'm sure the girls will pick perfect names, although I kinda like Frick and Frack! LOL! ;-)
From our ginger boys to yours: may you have many happy years together! 😺😺

Thank you! I know they will, they're better at it than I am. It works for them, too, but I doubt my kids would go for it!
Sending fuzzy head boops to Zac and Cody!

Tell Roscoe he's a good boy. Yeah, I figured they'd play together and leave Sunny and Violet mostly alone. Aw, poor Hades. That would have been hard with another kitten.

He is a good boy. How's that working out? It would have been super hard with another one. Now I think I'll wait until we've lost both the others (hopefully many, MANY years from now) to get new cats.
