One of them might have a hand free to hit the speaker button. What a weird premise. And why do the bro's best friends look like brothers themselves (borderline ick, IMO). The real question is did they check the phone to see who was calling first? And what would happen if it was the brother himself calling? Would there be a roll call? This sounds like a very silly book, saved only by the fact that it could contain wall-to-wall hot sex (if they keep the phone calls to a minimum).
