Well hell...

I guess I know who will be binge re-watching Heroes soon.

I'm so torn by this.  I mean, HIRO but... didn't they like murder this show the first time around?  Am I allowed to pretend that it ended after season one?  GAH.  The feels.

I do have to say, Heroes is what made me love to hate Zachary Quinto.  His Sylar was creepy as all get out.  (Am I allowed to say that I would have loved to have been able to cut people's heads open and steal their powers though??)  I had so many moments while watching the Star Trek reboot movie where Mr. Quinto - as the irrepressible Mr. Spock - would say something and all I could think was Sylar, no.

Anyway.  Once I get caught up on my review books, I think I know what I need to do before fall.  Wish me luck.

Oooh, interesting. I only ever watched half of that first series and it seems like an aeon ago now! I laughed because I remembered Jack Coleman from Dynasty (yes, I am that old) and now I watch Nashville so the cheerleader is busy saving herself with country music! I quite liked Peter and Nathan's relationship as I recall and Isaac was HOT like burning, but the only other thing that sticks in my head was the guy who ended up being killed as the pilot in the Pilot of Lost... who's name escapes me now.

I'd be interested in a reboot though because I did quite like the premise, but I think it clashed with something else and I gave up. Way before watching online became popular of course so I just never went back, and after your words, perhaps I'm glad.

I did love that line though and sometimes still have to whisper it out loud! (Save the cheerleader; save the world!)

It was forever ago! I think like 2005 or something? There were a lot of good things about that show. It was unique and combined everything I loved about comic books into a TV show. I'm laughing at Dynasty because I am old enough to remember that, too. (And JR getting shot on Dallas)

I think it'll be interesting as well. It just scares me anytime they reboot anything. It's been so long though, I'll be interested to see what I think about it now that I'm older. :D

Hah! I blurt it out at the most random of times and people look at me like I'm crazy(er). My husband, on the other hand, just rolls his eyes and goes on his way.

Ha! Your husband and mine could compare notes. I so do that kind of thing... he barely notices these days, unless he thought of the same thing at the same time, which also happens! Then the kids look at both of us like we're crazy and we just laugh! ;-)

It's funny how comfortable they get with our most insane quirks, isn't it?

And your icon is making me laugh. I got a phone call today around lunch. My husband and his friend were in the comic store and they found Firefly Monopoly... Firefly Clue (which he said was pointless because it's always Jayne's fault)... and Firefly Yahtzee.

OMG! Imagine all those games in Firefly! HA! Clue (we call it Cluedo, but I get it) - it IS always Jayne's fault! ;-)

Right? And his birthday is in a month so I'm assuming these are hints.

I've heard it called Cluedo before, but you're so right. It's either Jayne with anything available or River with her brain. Hahaha.
