Well hell...

I guess I know who will be binge re-watching Heroes soon.
It begins. @TheJackColeman @ryanAguzman @judishekoni @HenryLovesYou @RobbieKay_ @KikiSukezane @toru_uckd @heroes pic.twitter.com/VGZQJDjNhb

I'm so torn by this. I mean, HIRO but... didn't they like murder this show the first time around? Am I allowed to pretend that it ended after season one? GAH. The feels.
I do have to say, Heroes is what made me love to hate Zachary Quinto. His Sylar was creepy as all get out. (Am I allowed to say that I would have loved to have been able to cut people's heads open and steal their powers though??) I had so many moments while watching the Star Trek reboot movie where Mr. Quinto - as the irrepressible Mr. Spock - would say something and all I could think was Sylar, no.
Anyway. Once I get caught up on my review books, I think I know what I need to do before fall. Wish me luck.

Date: 2015-04-01 06:46 pm (UTC)We watched religiously because for the first season or so, it was really good and interesting. After that it... flopped.
Hahaha... it was more than one scene, that was Sylar's 'power' - stealing others' powers.
Right. When they did the Star Trek reboot, they brought all the back story into that first movie, so you knew what you needed to know. Although... even I knew about the Kobayashi Maru before I watched the movie. LOL
I do suggest you watch at least season one, if for no other reason than because it was good. Hiro and Ando will forever be my favorites. :D

Date: 2015-04-01 08:48 pm (UTC)I never did see beyond Season 1. Actually... I'm not even sure I finished season one. I suck at TV. Are the other seasons not too good? Is it coming back/being revamped?

Date: 2015-04-02 03:32 pm (UTC)Hahaha... yeah, I tend to suck at TV, too, unless it's something my husband is into. If he likes it, he'll record every episode and then binge watch it. The story lines just became ridiculous after a certain part in the series. But I loved that first season. Yes, there's a new series coming this fall called Heroes Reborn. So, we'll see. I adore Zachary Levi, so I'll have to at least give it a shot for his sake.

Date: 2015-04-06 05:46 am (UTC)I'd be interested in a reboot though because I did quite like the premise, but I think it clashed with something else and I gave up. Way before watching online became popular of course so I just never went back, and after your words, perhaps I'm glad.
I did love that line though and sometimes still have to whisper it out loud! (Save the cheerleader; save the world!)

Date: 2015-04-06 05:13 pm (UTC)I think it'll be interesting as well. It just scares me anytime they reboot anything. It's been so long though, I'll be interested to see what I think about it now that I'm older. :D
Hah! I blurt it out at the most random of times and people look at me like I'm crazy(er). My husband, on the other hand, just rolls his eyes and goes on his way.

Date: 2015-04-10 10:16 pm (UTC)And your icon is making me laugh. I got a phone call today around lunch. My husband and his friend were in the comic store and they found Firefly Monopoly... Firefly Clue (which he said was pointless because it's always Jayne's fault)... and Firefly Yahtzee.
