Okay so this wasn't supposed to happen
GUYS HELP.
Netgalley is an addiction as well as an impulse. And I might just need an intervention.
Generally, I can resist the urge to request every book that they email me about. But then, there are times when I cannot say no. On the bright side, I'm usually turned down for those impulse clicks. Although my feedback rate is above where they want it (83% currently, but will go up soon as I have one ready to review and one almost finished), often I don't have enough of a blog following to get the big name publishers to take a chance. Which, honestly, is okay. I see too many bloggers with 19 ARCS on their Netgalley shelf and no time to read them. I don't want that.
So, when an email for this book landed in my inbox, I clicked.

I clicked so fast, guys, I think I have push button finger now. And HOLY MOTHER OF COWBOYS HARLEQUIN FREAKING APPROVED IT. Like, almost instantly. I swear, I was expecting to wait four weeks and then get a rejection notice. I'd cry if they put me on auto-approve because SO MANY BOOKS. And despite the bad rep HQN gets sometimes, their MIRA line has some amazing thrillers.
So, what I have pending at the moment:
Like Never and Always by Ann Aguirre - FINISHED waiting for review
A Scandal in Scarlet by Vicki Delany - NEARLY DONE. I love this series so I should finish it in the next couple days
Little Darlings by Melanie Golding - publishes 5/10/19 so I have a minute or two to get this one done.
An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen - publishes 1/8/19 so I have time on this, too. It's next up though because it's been on my shelf the longest
Luck of the Draw by B. J. Daniels - this you know about but it doesn't release until 5/21/19 so my impulse click wasn't as bad as it could have been.
So, not too bad considering one is done and the other is close.
Anyway, back to your lives. I couldn't help but scream about this and, since literally no one in my real life cares, you get stuck with it. Now, I need to finish spending all of my boss' money.

I need to take some more pics - the new rabbit is so pretty. I usually buy a spinach/kale mix, and last time I grabbed a couple of mesclun mix - they have a bunch of stuff in; we just have to be careful they don't get too much plain lettuce as that makes their poop runny! Gideon lately seems to only eat coriander, but then he's also got plenty of access to grass so he probably eats more of that (and hay) than we realise.

Please do! I miss having a bunny. Ah, yes, that is a problem and a nasty one at that. I used to feed basil to my hamsters and it gave them basil-scented breath. Much nicer than the pellet-scented breath! Never thought about giving cilantro to any of my animals. Hmmm. I wonder if Sampson can have either?
