House update + two mini rants
If you're interested. If not, no hard feelings. :D
The house is really coming along and I'm very happy with how it's turning out. The floors downstairs are completely done, yay! The girls' rooms are done as well. Mine is half done - the bedroom floor is in, but the bathroom and closet still need to be done. They've finished the girls' shower though and it looks so good. Mine will get started after Christmas, which is fine with me. They still have to finish putting the vinyl down on the stairs and the landing, new toilets in mine and the girls' bathrooms, new faucets in all the bathrooms, and a new kitchen sink and faucet. So close to being done!
Sunny has always been skittish as heck, but on Saturday, when they started upstairs, she was beside herself. So much so that this is where I found her at one point:

Yeah, she's ON THE STOVE.
Living room:

My absolute disaster of a kitchen/dining room (the floor is covered in dust, it's not a different color, oops):

The girls' shower:

And now if you've made it this far, I have two minor vents.
1) I hate people with money. Back in 2006, we did a high rise of luxury condos. Today, I got a call from one of the people who had bought in that particular building. Her jacuuzi tub wasn't working and she needed it fixed. While she was very polite, she also would not listen to anything I had to say. Warranty period is one year, honey. And if the electrician said it's probably the motor or the control panel, WHY did you call the plumber? She eventually did listen to Rhett, so that's something, I guess.
2) I have friends who sell things to make money on the side. I'm fine with that and I'm happy to help out when I can. but when someone on your FB friend's list, who hasn't interacted with you in years - no comments, no likes, nothing - suddenly wants you to 'help them succeed in their new adventure' I want to scream. How do you politely tell them to stuff it? LMAO.
And I think that's enough out of me for a Monday morning. I'm also officially halfway through season 2 of The Witcher. God, as much as I love Henry, Joey Batey is really stealing my heart this season. But then, Jaskier cracked me the heck up in both the books and season 1, so, I guess it was destiny. Hah!
“Oh, come on!” yelled a voice from the crowd. “Everyone knows those songs are about Geralt the Witcher!”
Best Jaskier song yet:

The work looks fantastic! I think my deep brown vinyl is pretty much exactly the same as what you got, lol. We got almost half the work done this weekend...bit more to go.
On the rants...
1- sigh. I have a relative who is one who pushes and pushes and pushes in an attempt to tire people out until they get what they want. It's exhausting.
2- Tell 'em it's not something you're in a position to take part in, sorry and good luck with the new venture.

Thank you! Hey, it's good flooring! Woohoo, hoping you can get it all finished soon.
Ugh, I have a few like that, too. My daughter is one of them. LOL
That's exactly what I did and they came back with a 'but not even a post on your feed?'. Honey, you're basically selling diet products under the guise of 'health and wellness' so hard ass pass. LOL

As for the other, my friend and I always wanted to get "People Are Stupid" embroidered on a little sampler. *nods so much*

Otherwise looking good.
You know what I think about your FB friends.

Hahaha — no joke, right? I ignored the second PM from the 'friend' because even after telling her I had no money, she responded with, "But not even..." NO. NOT EVEN. Hah.

Thanks, I'm loving it!
Hah — I know. It's funny because I knew this girl long before FB, but once we became FB friends, she stopped talking to me. So, sure, honey, I'm going to help you out now. Not. :D

Rich people irritate everyone (even other rich people — just look at Bezos and Musk)

Hahaha — she was very nice about it, but no matter how many times I said a plumber couldn't fix a problem with the motor, she just said, "But I'll pay to get it fixed!" CALL WHIRLPOOL LADY. LOL
