1_million_words. The letter was U and, to quote
kaige68, “BTW — U is for undead! Just saying”.
“It’s been brought to my attention that it’s not professional to snack on your witnesses.”
“No, Mickey, it’s not,” Lorna said. She glanced at Hayley, as if asking for help from the teen.
“Really, dad,” she sighed. “You can’t tell me that this wasn’t something you already knew?”
“Oh, he knew,” Cisco said. “There was an incident… before.” He shot Mickey a look. “But we haven’t had any since.”
Mickey glared at Cisco.
“Stop trying to intimidate him telepathically,” Hayley groaned, exasperated. “That’s not very fair.”
“Or nice,” Lorna added.
Mickey grinned. “All these rules,” he said, looking upwards as he shook his head. “How will I ever learn them all?”
“He acts as if he hasn’t been this way for fifty years,” Cisco muttered.
“The trials of being undead,” Mickey said, sweeping an arm in front of him.
“More like the trials of being a human attached to the undead,” Lorna shot back.
“And a lawyer at that,” Cisco added.
“You know what,” Mickey asked, not expecting an answer. “I don’t have to listen to you, any of you.” He smiled at his daughter. “Except for you, mija, I’ll always listen to you. But the rest of you?” He snapped his fingers, and disappeared in a puff of smoke.
“I really hate it when he does that,” Cisco grouched.
“Same,” Hayley said. “It was cool when I was little, now I feel like he’s just showing off.”
