So, this is apparently the Romanian word for jellyfish:
It's pronounced how it looks - meh-dooz-ah. Almost exactly like Medusa, which is what made me laugh in the first place.
In other news, I ordered these for my younger daughter for her Christmas Eve gift:
Maybe this means I can have my Converse back?
