asphaltcowgrrlThis was going to be a strictly cat-related post but I'll be damned if Kobo didn't give me a reason to laugh this morning.
Nayla is not much of a lap cat unless she knows it's going to inconvenience me.
She was nice and warm though.
And Violet is an idiot cat. Not many places have paper bags these days, but it's the default for Whole Foods if you don't have your own reusable bags (I do, but I always forget them on Sunday when I go). Anyway, Sunny likes to sit ON the bags while Violet loves to destroy them.
(Sorry - floor needs mopping. Just ignore it. Please?)
In other news, I hit a milestone with my bike on Sunday - ride number 50 is in the books! I even got a purty blue badge for it! The silver is for hitting 10 rides during October. Five more and I get gold y'all. Thanks to Queen Cody for getting me through that ride. Titty shaking optional.
Lastly, I received an email from Kobo this morning telling me they'd gifted me with 2400 points and were basically treating me to a free book. Cool, right? Because it's not like I DO NOT ALREADY HAVE MORE THAN I CAN EVER CONCEIVABLY READ. *coughs* Anyway... I'm looking through the list of books I can theoretically purchase and find this:
Yes, that's Nora Roberts. In mother lovin' Romanian. I was HOWLING. Like legit laughing my butt off. I've been trying to find Romanian language books to help with learning the language but they're hard to find. Amazon only has a scant handful. Kobo had one kids book and it was free so I grabbed it. But not sure I want to be translating 'throbbing member' into English.Although, I can see how knowing that in Romanian might come in handy.
So, anyway, I've been having a rather amusing morning. And now it's lunch so I'm going to eat while I can. Hope you're having a great day.
