WTF, Universe?

asphaltcowgrrlLMAO... so, I'm on one line when the other rings. My co-worker answers and as soon as I hang up, he says, "Metro's on the phone."
My immediate response is, "ARE THEY LOOKING FOR ME?" I mean, not that I've done anything shady lately, but still, it's like the first thing you always wonder. Not gonna lie, I panicked for a hot second when the guy introduced himself as a detective. Haha.
On the bright side, one of our previous employees has applied to the academy but lord, I was not expecting that call this morning. Or any morning, honestly.
Man, it's now 9:17 AM and you're all tired of me already, I can tell.
I WAS ONLY KIDDING IN THAT LAST POST WHEN I WONDERED WHAT THE DAY WOULD BRING.
