I need to learn personal boundaries

asphaltcowgrrlNot that I'm encroaching on other people's but more keeping my own closer to me than I do. LOL
The moms group I belong to has a FB group where the owner posts a question every Monday to get us all talking. She'd said back at the beginning that she had a book of questions that she'd be using. Apparently, she missed a few weeks and I didn't notice (oops) until another member asked about it last night.
Being the ridiculous idiot that I am, I suggested making up wrong reasons for why the questions hadn't been posted...
...and then proceeded to comment that 'the cowboy carried the book off to the bathroom and now nobody wants to touch it.'
Yeah, because Zayne is controlling my brain today, I guess. (As evidenced by the Chex Mix in my lunchbox.)
She responds with, "There's a Seinfeld episode with that plot!" And I'm like, er, okay. I didn't know that (and honestly I don't care) but it just sounded like something that Zayne would do.
And of course, that prompted her to ask who Zayne was. HAH. So, of course, I told her he was my imaginary boyfriend. I should have told her he was my imaginary boyfriend's boyfriend, but that would have confused them all and I'm not up to explaining any of that to them.
One day I will learn to keep this shit to myself. But alas, today is not that day.
Although, it IS exactly what Zayne would do.
