I tried one season of AHS and gave up. However, I might give it a second try now that the girls are older.
I was thinking about some Halloween classics, too, part of why I ordered The Lost Boys. Never watched The Sopranos, although I've always wanted to. I hope you have fun with whatever you choose to dive into this month. :)
