December TV/Movie Update

I’m behind with this, as per usual.
What I watched:
Movies:
The Ice Harvest. I’d never heard of this until I went on a John Cusack spree. Funny movie, highly recommend.
Grease 2. I’m not sure what spurred this, but I haven’t seen this goofy movie in years. Found it streaming and had to watch. Maxwell Caulfield is still everything to 8-year-old me.
TV:
Interview with the Vampire season 1 eps 4-7. I really enjoyed what they did with this. Hoping it gets renewed because there is legit so much source material to work with.
Wednesday. Loved this.
Cults and Extreme Beliefs. A short docuseries about cults and other whackjobs. I wish they’d done a second season, but they hit the biggies: NXIUM, FLDS, etc.
Hillsong: A Megachurch Exposed. Because when I start on a thing, I often can’t stop myself. LOL I might dive into the documentary pool again this month.
Murderville. GUYS. If you have Netflix and have not watched this yet STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING AND GO WATCH. It’s a murder mystery series where they bring in a celebrity each episode but don’t give them a script. Everything that celeb does is improvised. At the end, the celebrity has to see if they figured out who did it.
In progress:
Abbot Elementary season 2. HILARIOUS comedy set in a school.
Criminal Minds: Evolution. Excited that I get a new episode next week!
Bosch season 5. Halfway through.
Up next:
I’m not sure. I found a show on Netflix called Rise of Empires: Ottoman, a Turkish historical drama. I know, I know, weird choice. Also, I’d like to watch more CSI: Miami since it’s been a minute since I’ve watched any of it. Kaige suggested a series to me also, called No Offence, and I want to watch that, too. Mainly to see if my FIL has watched it yet. He and I share a love of British TV. LOL
So, we’ll see what happens. Although, the Samsung TV my in-laws bought me for Christmas has a built-in app called Samsung Home or something like that. And there’s a Crime 360 section where it’s all Forensic Files, Dateline, and the like. I might never watch any streaming service ever again! And Mondays are documentary days. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
Anyway…. That’s all for now.
