Ugh, so apparently, I forgot about this last week.  Sorry about that.  Settle in for what’s probably going to be a long, boring post.  Hahaha.

What I read:

I finished:

Ain’t Love a Witch and Good Witch Hunting by Dakota Cassidy.  Both are part of the Witchless in Seattle series.  I’m trying to get caught up on this one.

Out of the Fog by Clarissa Ross.  A gothic romance that wasn’t too horrible.  I think the paperback copy I found is older than I am – the book published in 1970.

Ten Count Vol 2 & 3 by Rihito Takarai.  The first volume of this was really good.  In these two, Kurose gets a bit too manipulative for my tastes.  Also, this manga took a turn into porn there for a hot minute which took me by surprise. Hahaha.

Currently reading:

The Last Kingdom by Bernard Cornwell.  I’ve been wanting to start this for a long time.  Finally did and am loving it.

Twenty-Seven Minutes by Ashley Tate.  STILL.  LOL  It’s been really good, but I’ve been having a hard time focusing lately.

Madness: Race and Insanity in a Jim Crow Asylum by Antonia Hylton.  Grabbed this for review because it sounded interesting.  Already angry at two chapters in.

What I Watched:

I’m up to season 15 of Chopped.  Volume 1 on Discovery+ ends with season 20, so I might switch to something else once I finish volume 1.

The Night Manager on Britbox.  Never would I have thought that anyone would pair up Tom Hiddleson with HUGH LAURIE, but dang this show was good.

Taylor and I are rewatching the first two seasons of Abbott Elementary since the new season starts February 7th.

Other than that, I listened to my book this morning because I didn’t want to try and figure out what to watch next. Hah.

On the health front, I’ve been a flop.  Did nothing all last week.  But, I did manage some yoga yesterday morning, so that’s something.  Fawkes is obsessed with my bike though.  He and Gideon had been jumping off the dividing wall between the dining room and living room onto the handles.  Fawkes has recently taken to jumping from the floor to the handlebars, dangling for a second, before pulling himself up onto it.  Weirdo cat.  Why he doesn’t jump onto the saddle, which is lower, is beyond me.  Oh, and since the screen is a touchscreen, they’re constantly turning it on, too.
