Freaky! I know you're talking Fahrenheit (we use Celsius) so that is goddamned cold! And no snow? I agree; how does that work? We don't get snow here (twice in 70 years and then it melted on impact) so I cannot even begin to imagine getting it all the time.
Mind a tiny bit of concrit? It can be confusing with the 'he' option sometimes, so maybe using their names instead more often could help. Otherwise, I love your writing style - you really have me picturing the scene! ;-)
