I tried to do this last night and got sidetracked...

kaige68: I see your challenge of 1k words by Saturday and I have raised it to over 2k IN ONE DAY and I pounded out half of chapter 3.  THANK YOU I LOVE YOU because I needed that yesterday.  My July total is going to suck big, fat man hooters so maybe August will be better with this boost.

haldoor, my dear, I think I finally did come up with a way to do exactly what you want me to do.  So, um, stay tuned.

Now... I need to go tend to a boy fresh off his first date in a very, very long time...

1:30 PST EDIT: Haldoor you *%*#%&#... you have no idea what you started yesterday.  And now I can't stop and I have this afwul feeling it ISN'T GOING TO END WELL.  But um, you will get your wish.  2500 words in and I'm not even close (nor are they either...).

Second... er, sorry? I'm now at 3100 words and still going. I don't even know what's going on. And I'm at that evil four-letter place as well, trying not to signal the troops that something inappropriate is going on over at my desk. What I thought would be a couple pages has turned into its own chapter. God help us all.

OMG, I wound up with over 5k in this little *scene* (or so it started, and wound up being an entire chapter...). I do hope you do enjoy though! I just need to finish so I can post!
