There's nothing like calling yourself out for being lazy to get the creativity flowing.

After whining that I've done practically nothing all month, I gave Ethan and Travis middle names, found wedding invitations and vomited out a little over 2k words.  Huh.  Who knew I even had it in me?

And on that note... I'm off to take child #1 to tennis.

Five bonus points to anyone who can figure out the boys' middle names.

OK, going for the bonus points - how about Patrick (or Michael) for Travis, and I'm pinning my hopes on Arthur (or James) for Ethan!

Okay so this is funny because James is exactly what I'd thought for Ethan. But, since I actually have a James in my other *world*, I decided not to (even though James is my very favorite boy's name. James and Paul.) So, in a way, I guess you nailed Ethan's. :D

I'd never even thought about Patrick for Travis, although that's a really nice, Irish name. :D

Hm - I think Travis earned a name of Spanish heritage from his mother, Miguel? Ernesto? while Ethan has a pompous family name his parents slapped on him while they tried to main their 'hipness' by naming him Ethan. It's either Theodore, Warren, or Quincy.
Or, ya know, something else .... ;)

But I'll be interested in knowing if my theory holds true, at least!

I couldn't find a nice, Spanish name that went with Travis, although now I'm thinking (thanks to Haldoor) that I could have gone with Arturo. Hmm... I went with something more Irish however, and even have a funny little story for Travis to relate when Ethan finds out.

As for Ethan... you threw Warren in there on purpose, didn't you? :D But nope, although that's my head cannon for Wes - that he has some kind of pompous, embarrassing, outrageous middle name.

I wonder if you'll be surprised?
