And no, that's not a typo in the subject line
On Monday and Thursday nights, my fifteen-year-old has tennis lessons. I get home from work with just enough time to change my clothes and leave again. On our way to the park last night, she says, "I've got so much to do tonight. I need to read my book (for school), watch The Vampire Diaries (something she's recently gotten hooked on) , but I can't watch more than one or two episodes of The Vampire Diaries becuase Justin's new album comes out tonight."
*headdesk*
I don't know if it's because we're on the West Coast or what, but she said she'd get it at 8 PM last night, so she had time to give it maybe one good listen before bedtime. (I do know that when I pre-order ebooks through Amazon, they always land on my Kindle before I go to bed the night before.)
She also informed me, in a text consisting of ALL CAPS that Justin has released tour dates. He'll be here on March 25, 2016... and she has $500 saved for tickets. This. Kid.
She's a nut, but she's predictable, so that's something.

Date: 2015-11-13 10:18 pm (UTC)$500 for tickets? Wowee, are tickets there that expensive (I thought it was bad here) or does that include other stuff to do with going to the concert?

Date: 2015-11-16 07:39 pm (UTC)Oh, tickets aren't that much, she was hoping for a meet and greet package and THAT is what's so freaking expensive. I think her friend is getting them a package that includes floor seats, a merchandise package and a couple other things and it's like $375. Still so much more than I would pay, but it's her money, right? And it's specifically what she's saving for. :)
