Dinner, Dessert and a Little Weirdness

First, the weirdness.  A couple weeks ago, my bosses moved into the 21^st century and bought iPhones for our foremen – and for me.  Not that it matters for me because I never leave the office, but it’s nicer than giving fifteen men my personal cell.  In the two weeks that I’ve had this phone, I’ve gotten nine Facetime calls from some random Chicago-based number.

But wait, I promised you dessert, too, didn’t I?  You’re right, I did.  And funny story here.  My 14-year-old texted me the other day telling me she was bored.  I jokingly told her that I had a pie she could make.  When I came home that night, there was a pie in the fridge.

So, I found this Cream Cheese Lemonade Pie on Pinterest last weekend and, since we’re well into our triple-digit summer already, I thought it’d be the perfect dessert.  Turns out, it really is.  Light, fluffy, and refreshing.  Also, simple to make.

So, at this point, you’re either rolling your eyes at me or cursing me because you’re hungry.  Either way, I’m sorry… kind of.
