My boss seriously just asked me if 'am I' is proper usage. He saw it in an email and it didn't sound right.

HOLY SHIT AND YOU WENT TO COLLEGE DUDE.

I get it, to a point. English grammar can be weird at times and things that are correct don't always sound right. But this is basic conjugation of THE MOST OFTEN USED VERB IN ENGLISH. I can conjugate 'to be' in four languages and you can't do it in one? *headdesk*

Lord, and it's only 8:38 AM right now. Cannot wait to see what other idiocy the day brings. Hahaha.

On the bright side, I can deal with this kind of fuckery.

LMAO... so, I'm on one line when the other rings. My co-worker answers and as soon as I hang up, he says, "Metro's on the phone."

My immediate response is, "ARE THEY LOOKING FOR ME?" I mean, not that I've done anything shady lately, but still, it's like the first thing you always wonder. Not gonna lie, I panicked for a hot second when the guy introduced himself as a detective. Haha.

On the bright side, one of our previous employees has applied to the academy but lord, I was not expecting that call this morning. Or any morning, honestly.
