Day 7's prompt was 'no dialogue'. So um, have some more stream of consciousness from Ali's point of view.
Closing her eyes, she relaxed back into the hot bath, letting the water lap at her neck, shoulders, chin. The next four days were hers and hers alone. No ex-husband, no kids, no work no… no nothing. He might come to visit, he always knew when she was alone – and lonely. She didn’t know how he always knew, but somehow, he did. If only...
She felt more than saw the shadow pass across her prone form, forcing her eyes open, muscles tense. It was only him, once again appearing as if summoned. Relaxing, she smiled and held her arms open.
