Whining again

But this time it's not a bad whine. Just a neutral whine. Like a pinot grigio.

*looks at the above line and sighs* Sometimes I amaze myself with how much of a dope I can be.

So... math is not my thing. Writing invoices on multi-million dollar contracts makes my head hurt. I long for the days when a $100k job was a big job. Now? My boss turns that shit down for being *too small*.

Anyway, I needed to work in a medium I understand and can readily grasp and therefore I needed to get some words out.

How's things on this fine Tuesday? And now I need to go back and finish this invoice before noon. Oh, and no, this is not for the guy who likes to wait three weeks and then asks for me to rebill for more money.

The ice cream is lovely, vanilla with a hint of marshmallow flavoring, and random coconut with chunks of chocolate cake here and there.

It is above freezing, but at two am it's only just. Last night it got down to 57 in my bedroom, probably 52 or so on my first floor. Cold enough to feel cold, but not cold enough to really worry about things. The plumber has said he will stop by tonight. So hopefully some time tomorrow it'll be at least temp fixed. Weather says high 30's for a low for the next week. *sigh*

I did come home from my trip w/o spending all of my funds (I'm always afraid I'm going to run out), and this is the thanks I get for that.

I don't like snowballs - that marshmallow stuff is too rubbery - but that ice cream sounds amazing.

Ugh, that's not fun. That's about how our temps were when our heat went out, and it was way too cold for me. I'm glad that you have the extra funds even if this is not what you wanted to spend it on. Good luck with your plumber!

YES! I need to go in and approve mine, but she always sends the notifications at 10 after 12, so she has to wait until I finish eating. :)
