Day 9: Post some words of wisdom that speak to you.
I forgot about this. Oops.
Okay, wait - why would I post something that doesn't speak to me? Never mind, that wasn't really the question, was it?
You don't have to work hard if you work smart. My dad always said this and I've tried to put it into practice as much as possible. However, I work with MEN who LOVE TO COMPLICATE THINGS. *sigh*
And, since I was stumped, I went and searched for quotes, looking for inspiration. I found this:
“Understanding is the first step to acceptance, and only with acceptance can there be recovery.” ― J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
I don't remember this, but I haven't read the book since the movie came out either. But I like this quote. You cannot begin to fix something until you understand what the problem is. Accept the situation for being what it is, understand it, and then repair it. But then, JK was always full of good ideas, even if she has gone off the rails a bit the last couple years.STOP CHANGING YOUR OWN DAMN CANON PLEASE.
Okay, I'm out of inspiration for the moment so I'm going back to my invoices and mounds of freaking data entry I have left today.
