30 Day Writing Challenge Day 10

asphaltcowgrrlDay 10: Write about something for which I feel strongly.
Well, I have some strong feelings about the way in which that above referenced sentence is worded. *snort* Sorry, the administrative assistant in me is coming out and she is spilling gobbledygook.
Geez, where do I even start? There are so many things I have strong feelings about. I mean, I’m a water sign guys, it’s inevitable. How about a list?
Animal rights, children’s rights, citizen’s rights, equal rights. There are probably some lefts I feel strongly about, but none are coming to mind. Seriously though, no one should be less than simply because they are young, non-hetero, non-white, non-Christian, non-male, or something non-mainstream.
Proper grammar. And I don’t harp on this because I’m a snob either. I harp on it because you are the effing president of this company and you cannot put a freaking sentence together that makes sense, Patrick.
Misusing words. To quote Inigo Montoya, “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.” Cognitive does not mean the same thing as cognizant. Trust me. And for the love of god, stop using twitterpated to mean you’re flustered or frustrated. Watch. Bambi.
Reading. This sounds dumb, but education and knowledge are important. Especially in today’s world. Pick up a book, a magazine, a newspaper, SOMETHING OTHER THAN SOCIAL MEDIA.
I’m sure there are more but I’m suddenly blanking. On the bright side, I’ve made it ten days without forgetting. Let’s see if I can make it through the whole 30.
