And no, I didn’t buy any more books, promise.
Although, the one I was waiting on – Cowboy Wolf Trouble – did arrive in the mail last night.
I was going through my email and came across a newsletter from chef Donal Skehan. One of the recipes looked good and I clicked on the video. I love this guy – he’s adorable AND he’s Irish – and now I’m sitting here listening to all of his videos because his accent is amazing. LMAO.
Oh, and the recipe looked so good, too.
I actually made one of Donal’s recipes for my husband’s office party for St. Patrick’s Day. It was a hit, apparently. (It was a Dublin Coddle.)
Now, for the crackhead cats.
Sunny will literally play with anything. One of her favorite things? POTATO PEELS. I was peeling potatoes for mash the other night to go with the Salisbury steaks I was making and she stood with her paws on the edge of the trashcan waiting. Weirdo.
Anyway, Taylor was making her lunch yesterday before going to work and dropped a piece of raw broccoli on the floor. Sunny races in, grabs it, and runs off with it to play in the living room. About ten minutes later, Taylor found the piece of broccoli in the plastic box where I keep all the cat toys. I honestly think this idiot cat believes that broccoli was a toy. I just can’t with this critter sometimes.
So, how’s your Wednesday going? I’m only missing one time card, so that’s an improvement over last week already.
Oh, and if you’re curious, this is the recipe I was looking at:
Poftă bună!

The recipe looks good.

Date: 2019-04-03 05:57 pm (UTC)I've never seen a dog play with a bottle cap before! That's hysterical.
I know, right? I'm thinking about making it this weekend. Dinner is at 6.

Date: 2019-04-03 09:34 pm (UTC)It is kinda funny, especially when she starts to pout because she knocked the cap under the couch and wants me to get it for her.
Unfortunately, I have to work. Enjoy.

Date: 2019-04-03 09:43 pm (UTC)Hahaha... poor pup. At least the kitten can get it for herself. Nayla, on the other hand, looks forlornly at the spots Sunny crawls into knowing she'd never fit.
Bummer. I'll put some in the fridge for you. :)
