There must be something wrong with me

I hear about celebrity deaths or musician deaths and I'm like, "Oh, that's sad. I liked him/her."
But a celebrity chef dies and suddenly I'm, "OH MY GOD, NO! NOT CARL!"
...while standing in line at Sprouts.
Maybe it's because I was surrounded by food? IDK.

It was amazing- 4 star French food at reasonable prices, informal setting but always comfy and welcoming. Very real- which as caustic as he could be here and there, ya had to give him that he was always himself.
