So, after watching the last episode of Leah Remini's Scientology and the Aftermath, I needed something lighthearted. (That finale episode dealt with the Danny Masterson assaults as well as others that have occurred over the years in the *Church* and it was brutal.) Flipping through the DVR list, I remembered that The Good Place had returned and since that show never fails to make me laugh, that's what I went with.

There was so much to laugh about, too. That freaking elephant had me in tears.

Anyway, here are some sorta okay icons. Didn't do anything fancy to them, but I like how most of them turned out.

Next on my list is Stumptown. Anyone watching that? I'll admit, I tuned in for Michael Ealy and stayed because it was freaking hysterical.

It really is. Quite ridiculous most of the time, but a fun escape from RL!

It does. The original got more OTT as it went on, but this has been OTT the whole way! The new Fallon is incredible though; she's clearly playing the role for her own amusement, as she is just sailing through the ridiculous with her head held high and a slightly hidden smile! I love that Blake is played by Greg Show from the old Melrose Place, as well! He's aged incredibly well.

I can well imagine that show about Scientology was enraging. A lot of 'religions' and cults are just excuses for someone to go power-mad and control others to please their own whims. I'll look out for Stumptown!

Alex all the way for me too; he's so gorgeous, and as I say, ADAM. I have this not-so-secret ship for Steve/Adam. The ep where Adam came back without Kono had my little shipping heart beating way too fast. Perhaps one day I'll actually finish that sequel to my first fic about them...

Oh my, that would have been quite... shall we say, enlightening, at that early hour!!! LOL

Yes, which is exactly why I like it.

Oh, you have to love that. Years ago, a friend took me to a Thunder from Down Under show and even the strippers knew how ridiculous the whole show was and totally embraced it. That right there made it SO worth it.

Yes, exactly that. I had a boss many years ago who thought the LDS (Mormons) were a cult as well. I'm sort of torn on that one. But Scientology was essentially founded because L. Ron Hubbard couldn't get his books published.

Yes, he is. And he seems like an all around nice guy on top of it, so that helps. Hahaha... I like Adam, too, and could get behind a ship like that.

Let's just say I wasn't prepared for all the full frontal nudity first thing this morning. But overall, I found it to be really interesting.
