I bought this Texas Longhorn at the airport in Houston back in... yikes, 2006. I'd flown to Houston to meet a friend and then we drove to Dallas (for a book signing, I kid you not). Anyway, while killing time waiting for my flight, I found a few things to take home. One was this little guy because I couldn't resist.

Fast forward too damn many years and Violet has claimed him as her own.



And because I thought this was friggen hysterical... I stopped in at 7-11 to get chips before swinging by Capriotti's to get our lunch today and... they have Golden Knights donuts.



I'm afraid of what will happen once the Raiders start playing here. HAHAHA.

On a more personal note, I took a ride with a new instructor this morning and it was so goddamned tough, I was crying by the end. BUT I beat my previous personal record by 2 points! I was excited.

Awww, Violet is so darn cute! I love how they decide something was clearly meant for them, lol. :)

I felt really good, aside from a little soreness, but that's to be expected. :) And I'm hoping so. I noticed that I did a lot better in my ride this morning, so if nothing else, I'm developing strength and endurance.

Gotta love it when the fur babies hijack your stuff. Daisy has decided the afghan my mom's mom made for me ages ago is her personal blanket.

Violet is so freaking cute.

The donuts are hilarious, but you got to give it to them for showing team spirit...lol

Right? I have this flannel that anytime I'd wear it, Buddy would glare at me because he wanted to lay on it. LOL Aw, Daisy apparently has good taste. LOL

She does on occassion. I have to remind her that it's older than her and not to destroy it when she's making her nest. My grandmother used a stitch called popcorn, so it looks really cool, but I haven't figured out how to duplicate it.

I hear that, so does Siam when she gets under my feet. Darn brat!

You're keeping up with the BFA, so that's an achievement in that.

Kids and pets, if they weren't so cute and you hadn't invested so much time in raising them... they'd be kicked to the curb.

I'm doing my best! And yeah, anytime I can get through one of his workouts without dying, I'm happy!
