Finally Friday!

It has been one long, annoying as heck week, so how about some lighthearted stuff?

I haven't been able to focus much so my reading has been faltering. Which makes sense with all the craziness going on, but still, I hate it. So, yesterday, I thought I'd open up one of the e-ARC mangas I'd requested (shut up) and see if I could get through that.

As it turned out, I whipped right through it, even while being productive at work. Yay! I'm hoping that maybe this will help break me out of my funk. It was a really cute manga dealing with social anxiety in a light but positive manner.

So, I thought this morning I'd pick up one of the other e-ARCs I have. Since one publishes on March 31st and I should reasonably post the review within a week or ten days of it publishing, I went with this:



Nice cover, eh? I'm hoping that it's a fast read because I have no Netgalley control and I've been approved for every damn thing I've requested. Hahaha. Sometimes, I get approved for nothing and then, other times, the publishers are like, "Hmm... she looks bored, let's approve all the books!"

Anyway, enough book talk because I know you probably don't care or, if you do, not to the extent I tend to subject you to it all. So, here's a picture of Violet napping last night.

Agreed. And when it has really nice artwork, it tends to soothe my brain, too.
