When fandom invades payroll

It's Wednesday and for me (and Kaige), that means payroll.
So, when I'm inputting time cards into our payroll system, one of the things I have to do is enter the pay code. Meaning: regular time, overtime, vacation, what have you. Each has its own 3 letter code: REG, O/T, VAC, etc.
I'm notorious for typing ERG instead of REG because my fingers are stupid and can't spell. That and well, ERG is what I feel on most Wednesday mornings.
Today, however, I made a typo I haven't made before and it made me laugh.
Instead of PTO (paid time off), I typed OTP.
I'm thinking Zayne's come back to visit now that he's had breakfast and it's almost time for my Wednesday morning treat of lemon loaf from Starbucks.

Date: 2020-07-16 04:20 am (UTC)Ha. I would be making that mistake *every* week. No question.
Every time I need to write the word 'Stars' at work (entertainment content, a show you can likely fill in the rest of the title for, I'm thinking...) I write 'Starts' instead. I have no idea why 'Stars' and 'Starts' are twisted up together in my brain beyond them being very similar, but apparently they are.
Brains are weird.

Indeed. Especially creative brains.
