Another slow month, but I’m making my way through my lingering ARCs as well as some books that I’ve started and never finished, so I’m good with my output this month.
What I read:
The Tower of Fools – Andrzej Sapkowski. I really enjoyed this as it was more historical fantasy than straight fantasy. Hoping that they get the other two translated into English and published soon.
Make Mine Magic – Shanna Swendson. A cute little audiobook that was light and fluffy and a lot of fun.
Not Your Idol Vol 2 – Aoi Makino. This manga took a bit of a dark turn at the end. I’m kind of reluctant to read the next volume, but I kind of need to now. Ugh.
Invitation Only Murder – Leslie Meier. A fun little cozy that started off a bit rough but turned into a quick read. Always a bit weird to start with book #26 in a series but it was for an online book club so I dove right in.
Groupie – C. M. Stunich. A rock and roll reverse harem, so please don’t judge me. Especially if you’ve ever read anything I’ve ever written. HAHAAHA. No idea why I started this, but I was surprised by the actual plot of the story. Not too bad honestly.
What I’m hoping to finish next:
The Last Enemy – Pauline Baird Jones. At approximately 60%.
Corralled – Lorelei James. Sitting at just barely 50%
The Vanishing – Jayne Ann Krentz. Um, 30-something-%. I can’t remember and my Kindle is in the other room.
I won’t get into my TBR today because it’s bad.
