January Move/TV Update

Watched some good stuff this past month.

TV:

Hawaii Five-0 Season 10. I agree with Kaige who said to ignore the last couple minutes. I though tit was perfect right up until that point. Overall, the finale was pretty good.

Chicago Fire Season 3. I’m still not done with this, but I’m finally managing to get back into this show.

Perry Mason. This is the reboot on HBO, and it was NOTHING like my grandmother’s Perry Mason, let me just say that. However, it was really good.

Killing Eve Season 2. Only got one episode in before January ended, but I love this show.

The Flight Attendant. If you want a batshit crazy, laugh out loud dark comedy/drama, this is the show for you.

Movies:

Interview with the Vampire. Not sure what prompted me to find a copy of this movie, but I’m glad I did. I haven’t watched it in years and I think it holds up well.

The Magnificent Seven. This has been sitting on my desk for a few months now and (thanks to K) I finally found motivation to rewatch it.

The Contender. If you haven’t seen this, I highly recommend it. It’s about a female senator who is nominated to become Vice President when the current VP dies. During her confirmation hearing, all sorts of disinformation comes up about her past and puts her nomination at risk. Even if you’re not overly political, it was a great movie.

What I’m Watching Now:

Trying to finish season 2 of Killing Eve. There are only about 8 episodes so it shouldn’t take me too long.

Just received the lone season of a show called Trauma that stars Taylor Kinney, who is currently on Chicago Fire. I thought it’d be interesting to watch.

Kaige also suggested I watch Goliath and that might be up next.

Hahaha... I love that random Goodwill stores have Amazon Marketplace accounts. I got the series for $1.93 plus shipping. So, less than $7. You can't beat that and, since I won't likely watch it again, might as well pass it on to someone who will enjoy it. :)

I have been enjoying it. I'm on the last disc, but I'm trying to stretch it out and make it last. :-) (And then I confuse myself when I watch Fire and then switch back...)

I broke down the other day and ordered a movie and a series that I can't get via streaming or DVD.com. So, I might have a problem. :D

Hahaha! It's bad when you're watching several things in a row with the same actor, too.

I ordered a TV movie made in the UK called Doing Money. I've been watching God's Own Country and one of the actors is this really handsome Romanian guy so I wanted to find some other things (in English) that he'd been in. I ordered that and the PBS series Baptiste since he's in that, too.

And yes, I have a problem.

I had like 3 things I was watching with him depending on what room I was in. Oh! I finished Trauma. There was soooo much more to explore there.

Sounds like fun. I understand the feeling... I've been searching for stuff with Oliver (Buck) and Ryan (Eddie). So... I'm with ya.

God, as I was plowing through some of Warren Kole's backlist... he's been in some really bad movies. Although one of them is so bad, it's amazing. It's called Cougar Club and has Rossi from Criminal Minds in it. I laugh just thinking about that mess.

About the only show on the CW that was ever aimed at me was Supernatural. LOL

Crap, I meant to grab it this morning and forgot. Will make myself a note. Don't worry about it — Trauma was so good, I can't blame you. I'll want Cougar Club back though, it's part of my *Buttercup* collection (meaning: Warren Kole).
