February’s Lazy Bones Recap (aka TV and Movies)

My spreadsheet looks a lot more impressive than my list. LOL!

What I watched:

TV:

Killing Eve season 2. Love this show. Sandra Oh is amazing.

Chicago Fire season 3. A good season but I’m interested to see where all of this goes.

Trauma. I’m really sad this show only got one season, it was really good once it got going.

The Affair season 3. This is the most whacked show sometimes, but I can’t stop watching it either.

Movies:

Zero Dark Thirty. I started this and gave up about 40 minutes in. Normally, I enjoy movies based on true events, but this all takes place right after 9/11 and I apparently wasn’t in the mood. I’ll have to try it again later.

Dumplin. This is based off a young adult novel by the same name and was extra cute. I mean Dolly Parton and drag queens? It doesn’t get better than that.

What’s up next:

Right now, I’ve got the first season of Secrets and Lies at home. I watched season 2 back when it aired because it starred Michael Ealy. Really enjoyed it, so now I’m trying to catch up. Hate that it got cancelled.

I want to watch the last season of Killing Eve and Taylor says I have to watch Behind Her Eyes on Netflix. I’m debating whether I should watch it before I read it because I have the book on my Kindle. Hmm.

Suggestions and recs always welcome. My to-watch list isn’t nearly as long as my to-be-read pile(s).

I am generally envious of this list. I never remember what I've watched, and you always seem so organized. So this month I wrote crap down and I will leave it for you.

Also, my boss is desperate to have me watch Behind Her Eyes as he NEEDS to talk to someone about it. If my brain is in for heavy I might take a gander this weekend.

Watched all 6 seasons of Bosch.
S4 of The crown
Bake off - derry girls (because Nicola was in it)
Fellowship of the ring
Two Towers
Return of the King
and I started the Crew on Netflix

Then my normal serial stuff
DIY Dani (YouTube)
WandaVision — WHICH I LOVE
Sorted food (youtube)
Binging with babbish (youtube) and I think you would enjoy him if you don't already watch

And randomly a couple of eps of s9 supernatural

LOL! I keep a spreadsheet of what I watched and what day. Yes, it's that bad! There used to be a website called Get Glue where you could check in and save what you'd been watching, but since it went belly up, I haven't found anything like it to track my watching. I need a Goodreads for TV and movies!

Taylor said that Behind Her Eyes doesn't get crazy until the last episode so I'm intrigued.

I need to watch Bosch! Soon!

LOL — I watched that episode of Bake Off, too, and I have no idea who Derry Girls even were.

WandaVision is on my list! And I've heard about Binging with Babbish but haven't watched any of it yet.

I didn't include the things I usually watch either — 9-1-1, 9-1-1 Lonestar, Walker, Prodigal Son, Bull, Mr. Mayor, and all our assorted Food Network crap that's too much to mention.

Hahaha — about the only way I can inspire anyone, I think! But go you for keeping track!

I have a GoogleKeep note, but I have googlekeep notes about a lot of things.

I watch Babbish nearly religiously. I never make anything he makes, but I enjoy him. He's enough of a nerd, and he seems to be learning as he does things and includes his mistakes, so it's nice. He also has a Basics series that is more 'you can do this' where as binging is him trying to make weird food from TV shows and movies. Go forth and watch, they aren't generally long.

I AM LOVING Mr Mayor!!! they are so wonderfully ridiculous!

Sit down with Taylor and watch Babbish! DO IT!

Hahaha... yeah, same. I have so many notes that I have to make notes about my notes.

That sounds like so much fun! I'm going to have to make a point to watch some of it this weekend now. I'm weirdly addicted to cooking shows and have been since I first discovered PBS as a child. LOL Justin Wilson anyone?

OMG, Mr. Mayor is so ridiculous that I can't help but laugh. I love Ted Danson and Holly Hunter is insane in her role. I'm so happy you're loving it! It's exactly what I need at the end of the week.

I will mention it to her! I think it's something she'd like, too. We're just excited because Top Chef comes back April 1st!

I should have known you'd have to keep a spreadsheet to keep track! I am terrible at knowing what I've watched, so maybe I'll try this too!

As an example, I can vaguely tell you I watched about 17 episodes of The Untamed on Netflix, and most of Fargo, but I have no clue what else, and yet, we watch TV all the time...

Oh, I did used to keep a list of every movie I'd seen at the cinema, and then I kind of got out of the habit, but I did start keeping all the tickets after that, and stuck them into a notebook I have, so I could probably tell you all of them since 1978, if I can find the list! LOL!

I used to be able to get these really nice planners that had a ton of room to write in, so I'd use that. But I can't get them any longer. So, Excel it is!

Hah, I know how you feel. Anything I've watched with Taylor? I'm like, um... a few eps of this or that?

ROFL! That would likely be an interesting list though!
