So, in my last book post, severina2001 suggested I list all I had to read and create a poll. Not sure I've got that kind of motivation in me, but I can compromise.

These are pictures of my physical TBR piles I have downstairs. It is nowhere even close to all the books I have scattered around the damn house, but, it is a start.

I've started and put aside both In Europe's Shadow and The Night Olivia Fell. So, they're both a little bit read and that counts for something, right? I'm also working on getting through Stone Cross that I started a couple weeks ago and put aside when my library holds came in.

Lethal Letters - cozy mystery
Blue Flag Vols 2 & 3 - manga with a budding quadrangle
In Europe's Shadow - nonfiction, WWI & WWII history
The Night Olivia Fell - domestic thriller
Dodging & Burning - historical mystery
Why Kill the Innocent - historical British mystery
The Perfect Mother - psychological/domestic thriller
The Real Michael Swann - terrorism thriller (that's what Amazon's telling me anyway)
56 Days - quarantine murder mystery (no joke)
Razorblade Tears - mystery/thriller
Malibu Rising - women's fiction
Not a Happy Family - psychological thriller
All That We Carried - contemporary fiction
Love at First - women's fiction (LMAO, Amazon also has it listed as divorce fiction)
Facing the Dawn - contemporary fiction
From the Moon I Watched Her - coming of age fiction

This is a screenshot of what I have downloaded on my Kindle app on my phone. We won't even get into how many ebooks I have hanging out. It's shameful. In the early days, I bought every freebie I found. Hahaha.

Frozen Ground - romantic suspense
The Whisper Man - horror/ghost thriller
Ninth House - fantasy/horror/occult
The Dark Corners of the Night - mystery
These Witches Don't Burn - YA romance/mystery
Still Life - mystery
Only the Good Indians - Native American literature
Mexican Gothic - gothic/historical fiction
These Toxic Things - serial killer thriller

And my library holds are as follows:

Heartless - Gena Showalter (paranormal romance)
Home - Martha Wells (sci-fi short stories)
Such a Quiet Place - Megan Miranda (domestic thriller)
Six Weeks to Live - Catherine McKenzie (psychological thriller)
A Hex for Danger - Esme Addison (cozy paranormal mystery)
Instructions for Dancing - Nicola Yoon (Young adult)
The Sinful Lives of Trophy Wives - Kristin Miller (psychological thriller)
Twilight Man - Liz Brown (biography/memoir)
The Noise - James Patterson (mystery)

Obviously, I'll read the library books as they become available, but what would you suggest I start with next? I have one library book out right now - The Final Girls Support Group by Grady Hendrix (horror) - and am working on finishing Stone Cross. But am option to suggestions for when I finish them.

Lastly, my brother and SIL were in Austin and Dallas earlier this month and I saw this picture my brother posted to FB and had to share:

So I have not read any of the books in the photos, but I love Malibu (the place) so I vote for Malibu Rising, LOL.

I haven't read any of these either. From my experience, a lot of YA books are quick reads, so if you're looking to plow through the list, those may be the way to go. And since you've already started the Blue Flag series, that might be a fun comfort read.

Okay. NOW I understand why a poll isn't feasible. That is.. A HECKIN LOT OF BOOKS.

56 Days is on my Possibles list for *next year*, so I selfishly pick that one just because I want to know what you think of it. Alternately, the Martha Wells one because I am curious if her other stuff is as phenomenal as Murderbot.
