Kinda lame month reading-wise, but it’s something.
Arrogant Officer – Lauren Runow. Pretty good story despite Dax turning into a manchild in the middle. He does redeem himself at the end.
Roll Against Regret – Allyson Lindt. Another one of those PWP shorts that are gaming-inspired.
Six Weeks to Live – Cahterine McKenzie. I love her books and this one was pretty crazy. Woman discovers she has a brain tumor and has six weeks to live. Comes to the conclusion she’s been poisoned, but whether it’s true or a side effect of the tumor, no one is sure.
Teach Me the Ropes – Vanessa Vale. I really, really wish romance authors would find a way to cause a Big Thing between the hero and heroine that doesn’t involve NOT TALKING TO ONE ANOTHER. Maybe it’s because I’m very big on communication, but dang. And again, the hero is being a manchild. But before the Big Thing and after were great, it’s just that part in the middle where they refuse to talk that pisses me off. LOL
How Not to Kill Your Houseplant: Survival Tips for the Horticulturally Challenged – Veronica Peerless. Very handy illustrated guide to common houseplant issues.
Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 3 – Gege Akutami. I love this bizarre series.
Currently Reading:
A Hex for Danger – Esme Addison.
After the Party – A. C. Arthur
Stone Cross – Marc Cameron
Upcoming TBR (subject to change):
Malibu Rising
Blue Flag (two volumes, can’t remember which)
56 Days
Mexican Gothic
These Witches Don’t Burn
I need to step up my game for October. I’m at 84/100 for the year, but my bingo card is at 1/9. Hahaha.
