I watched way too much TV this past month.

What I Watched:
TV:

9-1-1 Season 2. Really am enjoying this so far. Need to dive into season 3 soon.

Prodigal Son Season 1 eps 19-20. WHAT A FINALE OMG.

Criminal UK. Only watched one episode of this, need to get back to it soon. Only 3 episodes so I have no excuse.

Children of the Snow. A docuseries on Hulu about a pedophile who kidnapped and killed kids in Michigan in either the late 70’s or early 80’s, I can’t remember. So damn disturbing. I don’t think they’ve actually caught the guy either.

Killing Eve Season 1. Troy and I had started watching this together back when it first came out. He got distracted by something else and we never got back to it. Really do love this show.

Top Chef. I think we watched all of season 4 and about half of season 5 so far. I love rewatching this with Taylor although I forgot how much I hated some of these cheftestants. Hung. Marcel (although he’s mellowed out and is so much better these days). Stefan. OH – funny story. Rocco DiSpirito was often a guest judge on the early seasons of Top Chef. Well, we were watching something more recently – and I can’t remember if it was the current season of Top Chef or something else – and Rocco was on it. Taylor looks at me and says, “He was SO much better looking when he was younger. R-I-P.” LMAO! Have to say, I concur kid.

Movies:

A Love Song for Bobby Long. I’ve had this DVD for a couple years and I only got it because Warren Kole has a very, very small part in it. But OMG! BB Buttercup! Um, anyway, as it turns out, it was a really good movie. I’m not a huge fan of John Travolta, but he was excellent in this.

Race. This was on TV when I came home from work on June 19th and Taylor was watching it. It kind of surprised me because it was about Jesse Owens and the 1936 Olympics. I knew some of the story, but not all of it and I have to say, it was a really good movie.

Thor: The Dark World. Still on my Marvel rewatch. Slowly, but surely.

Army of Darkness. Actually finished this last night and while I enjoyed it, I think Troy had hyped it to me for so many years that I was expecting more. And it’s not so much the age of the movie but I guess I was expecting more quotable lines? Still, I’m glad I finally watched it and holy moly at such a young Bruce Campbell. I really only knew him as Sam on Burn Notice.

What I’m Watching Next:

More Top Chef.

Avatar: The Last Airbender Book 2: Earth. Now that it’s on Netflix, I don’t have to deal with changing the discs all the damn time. But, I loved this show when it was originally on and watching it now is so nice because it’s fun and uplifting.

Criminal UK. Like I said, there are only three episodes.

Killing Eve season 2.

I have this huge stack of DVDs I want to get through to see if I want to keep them or swap them, but I need to see them first. *sigh* Might watch the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy next.

Again, suggestions of things to add are always welcome.

Prodigal Son blew me away. I was not expecting that ending at all.

I love Army of Darkness, but then I saw it for the first time about 25 years ago. Yes, a young Bruce Campbell is a cutie. My favorite quote was "You're the leader of jack shit and Jack just left town."

You need to try Lone Star 911. It's pretty good. So is FBI and FBI: Most Wanted.

I know! Gil I almost expected, but Ainsely? NO WAY.

I thought it was good, don't get me wrong, but Troy always told me how amazing it was and that might have tempered my opinion. Hahaha - I did love all the SMart/KMart references though.

Lonestar is next on my list once I finish 9-1-1. I need to see where I can stream FBI because that looked really good.

I was like, "Holy shit!"

Yes, I can see that. Those references were a hoot.

Rob Lowe has aged well. It's hard to believe that he's only a couple of years older than me...lol

I do like FBI and FBI: Most Wanted. Dick Wolf has struck gold once again. They compliment NCIS.

Same! It's a good thing I was home alone because I was yelling at the TV.

It was a lot of fun.

Surprisingly, he has! Hahaha... I know that feeling. :)

I'm about to start boycotting CBS. You can't get ANYTHING of theirs unless you record/watch it live or subscribe to their All Access. When I get home tonight, I'm going to see if I can get it On Demand. If not, I'm going to have to start saving to buy it from Amazon (no DVDs either what the actual what?).

But I got off topic there. I used to love NCIS, but I stopped watching last season I think. It's always been good, but I think that after 17 something seasons, I want something new. :)

It's already on my list. I don't tend to forget about things I've already started, just things that I see and never start. LOL

Okay good! I just wanted to make sure it was still there.

Yes, of course it is. I'm weird in that I usually can't binge several seasons of a show in a row. Supernatural being the one exception. Once I finish Avatar, I'll probably finish off 9-1-1.

And I'm more likely to binge an entire show...

I can do a season at a time but more than that and I get bored. LOL

Hahaha that's funny. I get invested and watch it all.

Watched season 2 of Umbrella Academy today.

My girls are like that, too. Me, I tend to get bored unless it's a really good show.

Nice. Taylor and I have been watching Top Chef. LOL Also, I started Lonestar, too.

I tend to watch all at once also cuz if I don't... I never return.

Nice! How was Lonestar?

Clearly I suck at answering comments.

I got ... maybe half way through the first episode of Criminal. I do want to finish the ep, but I don't know about the series...

I am very intrigued by Prodigal son, I will give it a go!

You did awesome!! AWESOME!

It definitely started sloooooow, but picked up after that. Like I said, it's only three episodes so I'll finish them off. Hopefully the next two aren't like that.

It is so good! I hope you enjoy it.

Thank you!
