Happy Halloween!

Well, okay, so if I didn't creep you out with those Alice Cooper lyrics I stuck in the cut... how about this?
I don't use G+ very often, but they always have some kind of nifty seasonal effects to add to your photos. I couldn't help but play, especially when it suggested this picture of my older daughter. And FYI: if you have a fourteen year old girl in your home? Never, ever, ever leave your phone unattended. Ever. Just sayin'. You'll come back to it and find fifteen selfies of said child and the cat. And quite possibly, the hamster, too.
(And yes, she is wearing a onesie... with owls in glasses on it.)
Anyway, Halloween is my very favorite holiday. I've never been sure why, I just enjoy it more than anything else. So, if you celebrate, I hope you have a wonderful, scary, spooky night. And if you don't? Then simply have a fabulous Friday and carry on through the weekend.

Date: 2014-10-31 09:08 pm (UTC)Heh. When you have a forty-year-old man-child at home, you can't leave the candy unattended I have learned. Hell, I discovered last Halloween that BUDDY likes candy corn. *headslap*
Yay! You too! :)

Date: 2014-11-01 09:40 pm (UTC)And Halloween is tricky (no pun!) here in NZ as so many people still get all Grinchy about it ('Just an American thing we don't need), but I way prefer it to Guy Fawkes with all the fireworks (which I hate) which they still insist on having every Nov 5th. I say it has even less to do with us than Halloween!
CANDY (or lollies and sweets as we call it here) is delicious. What's not to like about a celebration that offers that? ;-)

Date: 2014-11-05 09:27 pm (UTC)That's really odd though, because it really isn't American in origin, but we kind of love that day so... If I could watch fireworks without the sound on, I think I'd love them more. They're pretty to look at, but the constant popping and whistling makes me nervous.
YES! Lollies and sweets and chocolates - how can you go wrong? It's why Halloween and Easter are my favorites. Hah.
