Kitty Update

Since I know it's been a hot minute and you're all just so desperate for news about my cats.  🤣

I took this first pic last night. The story is this: for Mother's Day, Maddie got me two pillow covers for my bed. I'd asked for some decorative pillows but, because they were exorbitant, she found these covers on Etsy. Which works for me - I spent $16 on Amazon for the inserts. Because she also bought me all of these cute Pooh Squishmallows, I had to keep them on my bed, too, right?

Taylor's gift to me were these three cute cat prints that she's going to get my FIL to hang over my bed.



Before we got our current table, we had what was called a pub style table. Meaning, it was tall - about chest level on my 5' 4" frame - with a long bench that covered two sides of the table and two stools for the other sides. Sunny LOVED napping on both the bench and the stools. Recently, she's started to hang out on the chairs that came with our current table.



It was early and I'm not sure she was ready for her close up. LOL

Lastly, we have Violet hanging out on my bookcase. And yeah, my room is still a bit of a mess, so please excuse the crap on the shelf above Violet and on the floor beside the bookcase.



I think that's everything of interest. Not a dang thing going on in these parts. Just work, housework, and repeat. Taylor's dog sitting again so she's been MIA since Saturday. Of course, she comes home for meals though. Hahahaha. Maddie works close Mondays-Thursdays so I usually don't see her until Friday. It's almost like living alone.

Yay catpics! Nayla in particular looks gorgeous, and I love those pillow covers. I love that Violet is once again hanging around the books. I think she may have been an avid reader in another life!

Aw, thank you. She's my fluffy girl for sure. Thanks, my kids have good taste! She must have been! I also got a picture of Nayla on that same bookshelf. Not two minutes after she hopped down, Violet had to investigate further. LOL

Sounds familiar on the routine. I'm trying to get some outdoor time every day- and mostly succeeding. Doing some jogging/walking. Other than that, it's mostly just eat, work, sleep. Oh, I did attend a fundraiser for the local hospital foundation last weekend. I bid on two silent auction items- a tall decorative glass 'jar' and a bag of 100% Kona coffee beans, and I won both bids. Not a ton of $ involved, but I made a donation to the cause and I have a new decoration and COFFEE! Ha.

Check around the holidays especially. Found the cutest Frankenstein for my daughter a couple years ago.
