Because we all need to laugh sometimes.

First is todya's love horoscope.  I'm not sure if I'm on board with this or not, y'all.




Now, I feel like I've posted this before, but I'm going to share again because it is exactly how I work:

Lastly... the story told in Dracula starts on May 3rd.  There is a subscription called Dracula Daily that sends out installments on the days that they happen and I'm currently reading yesterday's entry in Jonathan Harker's journal and find this little gem:

I read that every known superstition in the world is gathered into the horseshoe of the Carpathians, as if it were the centre of some sort of imaginative whirlpool; if so my stay may be very interesting.

This is actually interesting because Romanians are known to be very superstitious people.  It amuses me to see it referenced in Dracula of all things.

That's enough for one morning, I think.

I'm not sure about that horoscope either. lol

I did Dracula Daily last year and liked it so much I decided to do it again this year. Plus I found a podcast called Re: Dracula with a full cast along with music and sound editing which follows along with Dracula Daily's schedule and so far the entries have been really well done and add a bit to the experience. I listen to it on apple podcast but I guess it is on pretty much on every podcast platform.

I jumped in around the middle of it last year and was excited when it started again yesterday.

OOOOOH. It's on Spotify, too, and I just followed, thank you for this! In 2020, I think it was, I bought a full cast audio version of Dracula and listened to it for the first time since high school. LOVED IT.

I think I've mentioned this before, but my late husband told me in 2018 or 2019 that they do a big Halloween party at Castle Bran (Dracula's Castle) in Romania every year. It's my dream to go one year.
